UPDATE: in light of recent events I feel that ai is not the simple issue that I make it out to be in this post. Please do not use ai generated images. It hurts artists and rips off their hard work. I will no longer be using ai generated backgrounds for my images.
UPDATE 2: While I've already used ai to as a tool to help with my business plan, I will be limiting my use going forward, as I have learned how much energy it drains. I may still use it for my product descriptions, as thats a small usage, and I won't be deleted anything done with ai until it is time to update, but that will be the extent of my usage from here on out.
This blog post contains parts generated by ai.
I let ai write my exectutive summary... and it went surprisingly well! I ran all of my points and thoughts through both chatgpt and LivePlan's ai tool with the tone, 'persuasive' and then I edited it to my liking. Here are two vital points about using ai as a copywriter:
- Be honest- Using ai may be controversial as an artist, but it is just a tool, and as long as you use it like one, it is fine to utilize it.
- Edit- You need to at least read what it spit out. It's okay if it's pretty much perfect, but even if you are tweaking one word, it needs to be reviewed.
- BE CAREFUL with generated images- I have personally only used ai for backgrounds, rotoscoping videos, and writing. And that is because ai is known for stealing artists work. Don't use it for any images more complicated than a closet or a brick wall. This is also why you need to credit ai for your images. Don't just generate things and post them as your own, that is plagerism.
One more note before I show you my exective summary: I have a bunch of new designs coming to my shop soon! Watch for the drops!
Here is how my summary turned out:
